How to Join

Membership Requirements

1.  You must be at least 18 years old.

2.  You must take our gem cutting class. 

3.  You must agree to use our workshop for personal use, not to make stones to sell. 

4.  You agree participate in club activities such as Open House events.

5.  You are expected to attend meetings regularly.

Where to Start

You may sign up for the class by clicking on PGParks.com It's called "Jewelry: Cabochon Cutting - 30616".

This class is offered to the public on the first Saturday of each month and is limited to four people.

If the class is full, you can put your name on a Wait List.

The cost is $30 for Prince George's County residents and $39 for all others. It is taught in our workshop by club instructors.

 

After taking the class, you may join the club, in person, at the counter in the reception area.

Annual dues are $25 for Prince George's County residents and $33 for all others. ​

Attend your First Meeting​

We meet at the Clearwater Nature Center in Cosca Regional Park on the 4th Saturday of each month.

Our workshop is complete with grinders, saws, and other equipment needed to make cabochon gemstones.

We meet on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m
