About the Club

If you are interested in joining the club, you should attend one of our meetings to meet the members and see our workshop in action. We meet once a month to share ideas and show our latest creations.

 

We are the only club of this type in the area and have members from Md, Va., and D.C.

 

​​Membership Requirements

1. You must be 18 or older. 
2. You
will need to take our class in order to learn how to use our equipment.

3. You will need to sign a Liability Waiver document in case you are injured.
4. Members are required to keep up-to-date on the latest changes to equipment ​and procedures which are discussed at our monthly meetings.
5. The workshop is available to members who have demonstrated ​the ability to safely use the equipment without any assistance. 
​6. Using our equipment for
excess cutting and/or commercial purposes may result in expulsion from the club.​

Cost
​If you live in Prince Georges County your total cost for the first year will be $60 ($30 for the Class and $30 for your Annual Dues). After that you will just pay Annual Dues.

​If you DO NOT live in Prince Georges County your total cost for the first year will be $72 ($39 for the Class and $33 for your Annual Dues). After that you will just pay Annual Dues

Special Classes and Activities

We try to have at least one special class or activity a month, in addition to our regular meeting. This is where members teach each other various aspects of the hobby. It may include how to solder, wire wrapping, improving your cabbing skills, intarsia, macrame, and many other topics.
